Publication of the new GS1 Benelux datamodel DIY, garden & pet (augustus 2024)
The new version of the GS1 Benelux data model for the DIY, garden & pet sector (3.1.28) has been published . It will go live on 17 August 2024. Retailers will receive data according to the new data model from then on. Suppliers should therefore ensure that any changes have been implemented by then.
Key changes:
- Activate bricks for solar panels, inverters, voltage regulators
- Activate bricks for indoor shoes, underwear/tights
- Omit several attributes that were duplicates.
- Add GDSN attributes for ‘price on packaging’, ‘price per different size’, ‘discounts allowed/not allowed’.
- Harmonise possibility to use ecocheques with FMCG/L&D sector
- Expansion of bricks where FSC/PEFC can be defined.
- Clarify various definitions of attributes and bricks.
- Redesign bricks for audio/video equipment, playground equipment, swimming pools, etc.
