Publication of the new GS1 Benelux datamodel DIY, garden & pet (November 2024)
The new version of the GS1 Benelux data model for the DIY, garden & pet sector (3.1.28) has been published . It will go live on 16 November 2024. Retailers will receive data according to the new data model from then on. Suppliers should therefore ensure that any changes have been implemented by then.
Key changes:
- Redesign segment tools including multiple new and expired bricks for hand/stationary tools and powered/non-powered tools.
- Activate bricks for natural decoration materials, terrace balustrade systems part, spreaders, adhesive tapes, masking paper, laminate shears, striking pen parts and consumables, ...
- Cleaning up several attributes that were duplicates. Combined with the brick, it is often already known what is meant by the attribute.
- Harmonise designations for energy source (instead of ‘functions with . . )
- In the context of harmonisation with the Netherlands, various validations change from status 'warning' to 'error'.
